The Smart Lollipop® Core is an innovative medical device based on a smart candy that enables non-invasive saliva sample collection and analysis, providing results that can assist healthcare professionals in the diagnostic process. First, a lollipop-shaped device collects the saliva sample and filters out impurities. The saliva is then directed to a biosensor that reacts with the target analyte, and through the connected optical reader, the results are digitized and made available on an online platform.

How long does it take to obtain the results?

Results are available in approximately 10 minutes and can be accessed through our digital platform.

Is specialized personnel required for sample collection?

No, the collection process is simple and does not require trained healthcare personnel, making it easy to use in various settings.

Is the product currently available for sale?

The Smart Lollipop® Core can detect analytes related to celiac disease and hypercholesterolemia. Additionally, the development and research team continues working to enable detection of all viable diagnoses from saliva samples.

The same optical reader displays the results on a touchscreen. Additionally, these results are accessible on a cloud platform.
